A fine pair of chased and gilt bronze candlesticks, the socket in the form of a gadrooned bulb, on a tapered, fluted, and asparagus-shaped stem, resting on a pedestal base featuring the same decoration and foliage friezes, the whole entirely highlighted with pearl friezes (age-related wear, one screw thread replaced, slight dent and deformation to one base).
Louis XVI period.
