Pressed molded glass ceiling light decorated with roses, signed "Degué," with a finely chased gilt bronze mount ending in a gilt bronze pine cone finial – Art Deco style – 20th century

Degué is the pseudonym of David Guéron, a French master glassmaker active during the Art Deco period.

He founded the Cristallerie de Compiègne (Compiègne Crystal Works), then moved his workshops to Boulogne-sur-Seine in the 1920s. He is particularly known for his pâte de verre (glass paste) pieces and acid-etched and sculpted light fixtures.
