Attractive 10-light Empire gilt bronze Caryatid chandelier. Of "marmite" shape, this chandelier features 3 caryatids alternating with 3 gilded bronze eagle heads.
Each caryatid has two arms of light, and each eagle head holds in its beak a corolla housing 1 light. The top of the pot has a 10th light protected by a frosted glass tulip forming a flame. This chandelier is suspended by 3 chains that link at the top around a crown of gilded bronze openwork palmettes, whose base is decorated with a beautiful rosette finished with a gilded bronze pinecone.
The lower part is decorated with superb gilded bronze openwork palmettes crowning a large rosette to which an artichoke head is attached.
The whole is in very good condition, with electrification rewired to the model.
