Carcel lamp in painted wood for the base and boiled cardboard for the stem, 19th century.

It rests on four bronze feet.

Square base decorated with Asian figures and cherubs on each side.
The stem is adorned with a landscape featuring a castle with gilt friezes.
Brass ring and bronze ornament.
New wiring: gilt brass socket for an E27 screw-in bulb, new wire.
The power supply is routed through the inside of the base.

Its square Spanish-style lampshade was created from Braquenié wallpaper with a hot air balloon and floral design, covered in a bluish-green satin fabric that shifts in the light.
