Marius Bessone, born in Vallauris in 1929, created his workshop with his wife Huguette in Vallauris, passionate about research throughout his career, he filed in 1958, a patent for an invention concerning a process of decoration in relief on ceramic. He then made lamp bases and cups.
In 1966, he obtained an honorary diploma at the national competition of art ceramics in Vallauris.
In 1968, he obtained a bronze medal at the national competition of art objects in Rouen.
