Raoul Larche (1860-1912)
"Les blés" - Important four-light lamp
An exceptional table lamp in gilded bronze, this work by sculptor Raoul Larche is a refined illustration of the naturalist and decorative aesthetics of the late 19th century.
Entitled "Les blés", the composition features a delicate plant motif, with ears of wheat rising elegantly to form luminous arms. The fluid, organic treatment of the bronze testifies to the artist's skill, in the spirit of Art Nouveau, where nature and movement merge in sculptural harmony.
This important four-light lamp, 60 cm high, captivates by its sculptural presence as much as by its decorative function. The original, unrestored golden patina highlights the reliefs and accentuates the play of light, reinforcing the lively aspect of the composition.
The work is signed "RAOUL LARCHE" on the base and bears the stamp of the Siot-Decauville foundry, accompanied by the number "832 H", guaranteeing its authenticity and publishing quality.
Both an objet d'art and a lighting piece, this lamp is a remarkable testimony to Raoul Larche's talent and to the excellence of French art bronze production at the dawn of the 20th century.
