Pair of Napoleon III period gilt bronze sconces with three arms of light and decorated with royal portraits accompanied by fleur-de-lis.
These sconces have an openwork wall part, richly sculpted with historical attributes representing the profiles of a crowned queen and king, facing each other. These are highlighted on a medallion topped by a crown with cross and surrounded by laurels. Arms, flags and bows are intermingled with garlands of flowers. In the center, two small angels overhang 3 fleur-de-lis. Below, a mask is surrounded by a snake and spread wings.
In the lower part, three large volutes form three candleholders with finely chiseled plant motifs.
