    White veined marble mantel with molded lintel carved with stylized foliage.

    The console jambs echo the moldings typical of 18th-century Nantes mantels found in shipowners' mansions.

    The molded shelf follows the movement of the lintel.

    This mantel is presented with painted wood sides. These sides are used for presentation. As with the majority of mantels from this period, the sides must be masoned and plastered.

    Good condition.

    Certainly Nantes work from the second half of the 18th century.
