Very important Renaissance style fireplace in solid oak circa 1850. Fitted with a hood with geometric ornaments. It rests on sturdy half columns sculpted at the base and at the top. The band is surmounted by a tray also sculpted in the border. The same sculptures adorn the top of the hood. The belt under the band is decorated with flowers and foliage. A rare and exceptional piece. H290 x 172 x 66cm
