Important Khmer stoneware storage jar with brown/iron glaze and incised motifs around the neck and base. Potters used wheels to produce these ceramics: the rounded base, flared rim, neck and color are typical of Angkor-period production. Cambodia, 11th or 12th century.
H 63 CM X Diameter 33 CM X D useful 55 CM.
Neck diameter 10 CM.
A thousand-year-old piece with almost modern, timeless shapes and proportions, in very good condition with rare minor losses.
