    Officer's flintlock pistol, signed FATOU in Paris
    France, 19th century
    Steel, brass, wood.
    Total length: 38 cm - Barrel length: 21.6 cm - Muzzle diameter: 17 mm

    Flat-faced then round barrel, slightly blunderbussed and marked HC 5 on the inside; hallmarked with the remainder of a gilded ring at the top; silver front sight.
    Round-body lock, signed FATOU in Paris; brass bassinet
    All brass fittings.
    Wooden mount with checkered stock.
    Missing ramrod.
    Good condition.
