Steel and Gutta percha
Length: 23.5cm - Barrel length: 11.5cm (4.5'') - Cal. 38
Round barrel with rifled bore, marked on top and two lines: Colt's Pt. F.A. Mfg. Co, Hartford, Ct, U.S.A. and on the left side COLT D.A.38. 90% blue finish Half-moon handlebars.
Closed, case-hardened carcass, marked on left side: Pat. Sept. 19, '71. Sept. 15, '74. Jan.19, '75.
Stock and trigger guard with 80% blue finish.
All parts numbered 77155.
Stock plates in gutta percha, checkered with prancing colt.
Single and double action (first Colt double-action revolver).
Very good condition; barrel and cylinder chambers mirrored.
