MARIETTE REVOLVER WITH SLIDING SYSTEM
Belgium, 1860/1870
Steel and wood
Length: 19.5cm - Barrel length: 10 - Cal. 7mm pin
Fluted, then round, smoothbore barrel, marked MARIETTE BREVETTE on the left side and numbered 39 on the right side. Bright blue finish. Dovetail-mounted front sight. The whole assembly is mounted on a pin allowing it to slide horizontally; manual locking by the screw on the underside. Rod mounted on the right-hand side.
Seven-chamber cylinder, stamped M, glossy blue finish; sliding horizontally on the axle.
Open frame, in white polished steel, numbered 39.
Ring trigger.
Walnut stock plates.
Single and double action.
Very good condition.
