    Smith & Wesson N°3 second model revolver. Round, rifled bore, tilting barrel with recessed top band, marked on top:
    SMITH & WESSON SPRINGFIELD MASS USA PAT JULY 10 60 JAN 17 FEB 17 JULY 11 65 & AUG 24-69.
    The original marking is completed by the inscription Fini par Gastinne Renette on one side and à Paris on the other.
    Half-moon handlebars modified and dovetailed. Modified double rear sight.
    Grooved, six-chamber barrel. Collective extractor.
    Single-action operation. Central percussion.
    Jaspered trigger guard and hammer.
    Selected wood stock plates. The frame is equipped with a shaped piece designed to receive the additional stock.
    Serial number on the heel and on a plate: 21981.
    Bolt, cylinder, barrel and frame numbered 848.
    90% blue finish.

    Walnut stock.
    This Smith & Wesson is in mint condition. Inside barrel and mirrored chambers; perfect rifling. Also mechanically sound.

    The wooden case is covered in black percaline, with a monogram on the grip. The interior is lined with burgundy felt and a screwdriver.
