The Order of the Ouissam Alaouite is a Moroccan honorary order created on January 11, 19131 shortly after the establishment of the French protectorate and under the reign of Moulay Youssef. Like the Moroccan Order of the Throne, the Order of the Alaouite Ouissam is considered the equivalent of France's National Order of the Legion of Honor.

The Ouissam Alaouite distinction, or decoration, is still awarded today to ministers, diplomats, military personnel and foreign personalities who have rendered eminent services to the Kingdom. Recipients are appointed or promoted by decree of the King of Morocco, who is the Grand Master of the Order.

Good overall condition, but there is a large enamel skip on one side. Visible on the photo.

Dimensions: 9.5 (total H) x 6 (at widest) cm
