Turkey, Ottoman period
First half of the 19th century
Steel, agate, copper, pearls.
Total length: 26.5 cm; Blade length: 17.4 cm
Hilt with a stack of three agate stones; these are lightly decorated with gilded motifs. The top is surmounted by a copper piece with four prominences set with pearls.
Straight, single-edged blade with a gold damascene calligraphy decoration.
Fair condition. Blunt blade.
