    DAGGER called Katar Jamadhar, with its scabbard.
    Mughal Empire, India, early 19th century
    Iron, steel, gold damascene
    Total length: 36.3 cm (without scabbard) - Blade length: 20.9 cm
    Damascene steel blade, double-edged, with median ridges, and double hollow fullers. Chainmail piercing point.
    The forging is integral, opening into a U-shaped handle, composed of a double damascene branch, convex on the outside, and connected by two transverse bars. It is decorated with gold damascene, with floral motifs and friezes.
    The original damascene is well preserved.

    Wooden scabbard covered with red felt (faded).
