    FUSHI - KASHIRA en suite in patinated copper decorated with parallel oblique stripes.
    Wooden TSUKA covered with ray skin, braided with blue silk.
    MENUKIS in finely chased copper featuring lobsters.
    Tashi-shaped wrought-iron TSUBA combining Choji and Karakusa motifs, which together signify prosperity and longevity, engraved with leafy foliage.
    SAYA in wood covered with textured black lacquer.
    HABAKI in gilded copper, engraved in high relief with the Tokugawa clan mon.

    NBTHK also known as Nihon Bijutsu Touken Hozon Kyokai (the Society for the Preservation of the Japanese Art Sword), is one of the oldest Japanese sword evaluation organizations in modern Japan.
