(Blade slightly bent)

Straight, single-edged steel blade, shaped on the counter-edge.
Silver ferrule chased with geometric friezes and foliage.
Blackened wood spindle carved in a grid pattern.
Silver cap pommel, engraved en suite.
Wooden scabbard sheathed in black leather.
Silver cap and bolt chased with scrolls, stamped with a profile in an oval, a coat of arms and monogrammed "M&S".

In Scottish Gaelic, the term "sgian dubh" means "little knife". It is one of the attributes of the officers of the Gordon Highlanders.
