Steel shell. Marmouzet, crest, pomegranate headband, plume holder, rosette snap ring and brass scale chinstraps, lined with black leather for the chinstraps. Marmouzet headpiece in red horsehair, mane in black horsehair with good length. Leather-lined visor and nape. Brown morocco inner cap. Scarlet rooster feather plume, brass olive. France, late 19th century, in service until WWI.
Good condition, with traces of use. Worn cap. Size 56/57 cm.
