Steel crown. Marmouzet, crest, grenade headband, plume holder, rosette rush, and brass scale chinstraps, lined with leather for the chinstraps. Marmouzet puff in red horsehair, black horsehair mane of good length. Leather-lined visor, neck piece with missing leather. Brown morocco inner cap, with wear and missing parts. Scarlet cock feather plume, reconstituted olive. Late 19th century France, in service until the First World War.
Condition: ABE, with signs of use and wear, visible in the photos. Cap worn. Size 56/57 cm.
