    Royal Navy Lieutenant RC Kinnear Officer's outfit circa 1910, by Gieve Matthews & Seagrove LTD Portsmouth London Devonport. Comprising a taupe velvet bicorne with gilt trim and gilt button with anchor and crown, leather and silk inner cap, a pair of epaulets with gilt trim, gilt buttons, gilt floats and silver-threaded naval anchors, a leather, gilt-threaded and drowned belt with gilt buckle decorated with laurel leaves, crown and anchor, all in an interior metal box in purple velvet. box dimensions 47 X 23 cm, height 20 cm. Condition with traces of use.
