Charming decorative flower-shaped mirror, attributed to Mithé Espelt, combining glazed ceramic and a dark metal frame, Camellia model.
The circular mirror sits at the heart of a corolla of raised petals, whose glazes display beautiful shades of deep blue and turquoise. A slender stem extends the composition, accompanied by two olive-green glazed ceramic leaves.
The contrast between the brilliance of the glazes and the understated metal gives this piece a presence that is both sculptural and poetic. A small garden of light, perfect for an entryway, bedroom, or among a collection of ceramics.

    Dimensions:
    • Total height: 28 cm.

    • Flower diameter: 16 cm.

Materials: glazed ceramic, metal, and mirror.

She won several prestigious awards for her artistic achievements, including the Grand Prix National de la Céramique in 1991. Espelt, who passed away in 2020, left behind a significant artistic legacy, with her works exhibited in numerous museums in France and abroad.
