Large Restoration-style mirror in wood and gilt stucco, dating from the 19th century, with a slender rectangular silhouette and refined ornamentation. Its fully sculpted frame is adorned with shell medallions, flowering branches, scrolls, and foliage, all crafted with great finesse and enhanced by warm gilding.
The understated yet elegant moldings structure the whole and highlight the mirror, which is surrounded by a foliate frieze. The balance between neoclassical rigor and decorative delicacy perfectly illustrates the aesthetics of the Restoration style, where imperial restraint is softened by a renewed taste for ornamentation.

This generously sized mirror brings a noble and luminous presence, ideal for enhancing a contemporary or classic interior.
