Beautiful painting "Boats in the Port" by the Bordeaux painter Mildred Bendall.

A French painter of English origin, Mildred was born in Bordeaux in 1891.
Influenced by Matisse and Albert Marquet, she is a major figure in Bordeaux's avant-garde painting.
Associated with Fauvism and accepted into the Salon des Artistes Français, she joined the Académie de la Grande Chaumière in the Montparnasse district in the late 1920s.
The painting is in good condition, with some minor paint loss, wear consistent with age, foxing on the back of the canvas, and possibly some dampness. There is also a small imperfection in the frame.
Dimensions without frame: 73cm x 60cm
Dimensions with frame: 85cm x 72cm
