Oil painting on canvas depicting two young boys (brothers?) in sailors' garb (vareuse) signed by the artist Jeanne Gadille and dated August 1931. Very fine work, well representative of the family portraits of the '30s. Restored by myself (cleaning of the pictorial layer and protective varnish). Note the wear marks on the original art deco frame in gilded wood and stucco (you can remove it or keep it, see photo).
Dimensions with frame width 74 cm x height 63 cm.
