French school from the beginning of the 19th century, bouquet of flowers or still life in an openwork basket on an entablature, rectangular oil on canvas with an oval view in a beautiful Louis XVI frame in carved wood and gilded with gold leaf. The painting dates from the 1800s, as does the frame.

Beautiful composition ; an explosion of fresh and delicate colors, the flowers (assemblage of roses, peonies, poppies, tulips, wildflowers) are perfectly represented, as is the basket vase. Very decorative and furnishing format.

In excellent condition. The painting is cleaned as well as the wooden frame gilded with gold leaf.

    Frame: 69cm x 62.8cm
