Porcelain bisque statue of Saint Joseph, recognizable by his attributes - the flowering staff and the carpenter's axe. He stands on a base marked with the Cross. Early 19th century production circa 1830.

In the Catholic religion, Saint Joseph is the adoptive father of the Infant Jesus and protector of the family.

A beautiful centerpiece to place on a chest of drawers or mantelpiece. It's an ornate piece from every angle, intended to be seen from all sides, for example with its back to a mirror.

Very good overall condition, no damage or missing parts.
