Description

Pair of biscuit porcelain busts mounted on blackened wood bases, depicting the Austrian composer Franz Joseph Haydn (1732-1809) and the German composer Johann Sebastian Bach (1685-1750).
Heights 39 and 39.5 cm. Beautiful sculpting and chasing, with many details.
I would guess they are German porcelain, but I haven't been able to find a maker's mark.
They probably date from the period 1880-1920.
The porcelain is slightly soiled; we are selling them as is, from a regional estate.
Shipping in two separate, secure, reinforced packages:
France €30
Europe €60
Other countries €90
