On the Chinese imari:
Of Japanese origin, the Imari style was quickly copied by China, when the latter resumed trade with Europe while Japan rather applied a policy of isolation "Sakoku" during the Edo period. The colors and techniques are quite similar to the Japanese Imari style, the patterns and arrangement of the latter may however be different.
