Lahoche and Panier for the Escalier de Cristal, Paris, 162-163 Palais Royal, second half of the 19th century: charming "egoistic" tea service, intended for one person, comprising four white porcelain pieces highlighted with a wide royal blue border dotted with gilded foliage, and more discreet gold and black borders.
The height of each shaped piece varies between 11 and 12 cm. All pieces, with the exception of the saucer, bear the mark "Lahoche & Panier Palais Royal 162" on the reverse and are in perfect condition - walnut, the gilding on the milk jug spout is slightly worn.
