Imposing Imari 19th century covered vase. very elegant shape.
To vary your decoration you can rotate it because it has 3 different decorations.
The pretty frieze at the base testifies to the Meiji period.
The grip of the lid is typically Japanese unlike the Fô dogs sometimes present on less important pieces.
I must point out that my restorer's nimble fingers treated a flaw that I am now unable to find.
Beautiful thick porcelain that sounds wonderful.
