Pair of large baluster-shaped vases in polychrome Chinese porcelain, richly decorated with numerous figures, notably in war scenes (horsemen bearing swords and standards, soldiers with shields...) as well as mandarins and servants, all surrounded by floral motifs with birds, signed Tongzhi (1862-1874), 19th century.
These vases are in very good condition and are of remarkable quality, highly decorative due to their large size. Both signed on the bottom.
