    Pair of pot-bellied Nanjing porcelain vases, closed shape, reduced mouth and flat seat. These vases have a polychrome enamel decoration rotating with battle scenes. Samurai, armed with dao swords and spears, are painted against a stylized landscape background. The edges are dressed with a collar decorated with oriental dragons. The collar presents Fô dogs as handles. Each bottom is stamped.
    Renowned for the quality of its porcelain, Nanjing offers us two vases finely executed more than a hundred years ago.
