Bronze sculpture with brown patina signed Eugène de Gaspary, a late 19th century Parisian sculptor who received an honorable mention in 1894 at the Universal Exhibition.
This work features a Setter in a stop position standing on its legs, awaiting instructions from its master. His taut body forms a straight line from his muzzle to the end of his tail in perfect balance.
On the terrace we find the artist's signature. The whole rests on a cherry red marble veined with white and gray, with chamfer.
This bronze animal work exudes a sense of serenity and honors the loyalty of this hunting dog.
