Jean Mermoz, born in Aubenton or Guise (Aisne), on December 9, 1901 and disappeared in the Atlantic Ocean on December 7, 1936, is a French aviator, legendary figure of the Aéropostale, nicknamed the "Archangel".
He is also one of the founders in 1936 of the French Social Party (PSF) with Colonel de La Rocque.
