Henri Peinte (Cambrai 1845 - Paris 1912 ) A pupil of Francisque Duret, Eugène Guillaume and Jules Cavelier at the Beaux-Arts in Paris, he made his debut at the Salon in 1877 with Sarpédon and won the Grand Prix at the Exposition Universelle in 1889.
