Imposing bronze sculpture depicting a soldier with his standard. Magnificent medal patina, signed on the base Coisy for Onesyme-Aristide Croisy 1840-1899, foundry stamp Susse frères, France Paris.

Croisy entered the Paris Academy in 1857 and received his first grand prize at the Salon de Rome in 1863.
