Fragment of a pink sandstone stele representing the couple Shiva and Parvati.
Shiva, on the left, is traditionally shown taller than his consort. His youthful face is characterized by semi-circular superciliary arches overhanging large almond-shaped eyes, and a slender nose above a small mouth with half-open lips. The hair consists of large, undulating curls that fall to the shoulders, with a heavy necklace resting on her chest.
Parvati's face is slightly tilted, with closed eyes framing a fine, blunt nose. Her hairstyle is characterized by a high double bun, her ample bosom adorned, like Shiva's, with a large necklace. The left arm is raised, the hand at face level holding an artifact.
