    Alabaster bust: Joan of Arc, by Luchini. Born in 1850, this Italian sculptor is renowned for the finesse and realism of his work. He is highly regarded by collectors. This bust is made from a block of two-tone alabaster, and the sculptor used one part for the clothing, and the least veined part for the face. Joan of Arc is depicted in medieval costume, probably at a time when she had not yet donned her armor.
    In good condition, with a few small chips. Height 25cm.
