This work was produced in collaboration with the sculptor Raymond Martin (1910-1992).
With this sculpture, the two sculptors were the winners of a competition for a monument to Maréchal Foch.
The statue was erected on the Place du Trocadéro.
Provenance: artist's studio by descent.
