Pair of knights in silver plated metal, resting on a circular base with two levels in sea green marble. These soldiers are represented in arms, dressed in their military attire, and holding a jousting lance raised to the sky. The artist has faithfully reproduced the complete equipment of these medieval champions, from their helmets to their raised visors, as well as their armor, one of which is complemented by a haubert, or coat of mail. Both men stand proudly on their legs, protected by solerets at the level of the feet, and hold on the side their shield, on which appear their coats of arms: a cross of Saint Andrew surmounted by a crown for the one, a castle with 2 towers for the other.
This pair of infantrymen will delight medieval history enthusiasts, and will brilliantly decorate an enfilade or an estate sideboard.
