    Bust of Marianne in patinated metal entitled "The Republic" after the work of Theodore Doriot. This renowned sculptor, a student of Rude, made his debut at the Salon des Artistes in 1868 and produced this bust in 1880.
    Marianne is wearing a plant crown of wheat and a headband with the inscription "Honneur et Patrie". She is dressed in armor covered with a draped toga and a collar with medallions representing the institutions promoted by the Republic (Agriculture, Commerce, Fine Arts, Education, Justice, Sciences, Navy and Industry).
