Sculpture called "Windswept" in polished and blackened steel.
Composed of three intertwined polished steel spirals, intricately welded and punctuated with textured blackened steel details, the sculpture evokes a fluid, almost musical movement, suspended in time. It rests on a cylindrical base of veined gray marble, providing stability and contrast with the lightness of the structure.

Curtis Jeré (often written C.Jeré) is not a single person, but a pseudonym formed from the first names Curtis (Freiler) and Jeré (Jerry Fels), two brothers-in-law and co-founders of Artisan House in 1963/64.
    • Curtis (Kurt) Freiler (1910–2008), a German immigrant, was the production manager, while Jerry Fels (1917–2007), born in Brooklyn, studied at the Art Students League and managed the design.
    • Together, they had already founded a jewelry company in the 1940s (Renoir, Matisse), and then sought to offer "gallery-quality art for the masses" by creating decorative works in metal.

    Style & Techniques
    • Sculptures primarily in precious metals: copper, brass, bronze, steel, sometimes aluminum, often patinated or enameled.
    • Works range from stylized figuration to sophisticated abstraction, and even functional creations such as lamps or mirrors.
    • Demanding manual production: cutting, bending, brazing, welding, etc., often entrusted to artisans, including people with disabilities or members of minority groups.
