KOHN Armchair N°715, design by Gustave Siegel, model proven in 1899. The construction of the 715 is easily recognizable by its front legs, which are an extension of the top of the backrest, in a single piece of wood. It's the archetype of a whole series of armchairs and benches from Kohn and 'Thonet-Mundus from 1900 to 1940, still very much appreciated. Thank you, Mr. Siegel, who was only 20 at the time!
Excellent condition. Solid mahogany shellac.
The current upholstery is in good, clean condition.
However, our upholsterer can reupholster this armchair with genuine Backhausen fabric. Choice of up to 5 patterns (Hoffmann, Prutscher).
