    Pair of exotic wood armchairs with high backs, based on the model by Giuseppe Scapinelli.
     
    Giuseppe Scapinelli (1891–1982) was an Italian designer who settled in Brazil in the 1920s. A prolific designer, his work is distinguished by elegant forms and bold curves, often crafted from carved exotic wood.
    He designed refined furniture that combined functionality and sophistication, blending European aesthetics with Brazilian modernism, defining the style of Brazilian furniture of the 1950s and 1960s.
    The armchairs have recently been completely reupholstered, with some wear to the varnish. The seats and backs are covered in white upholstery fabric.
