These cabriolet armchairs in the Louis XV style are made of white lacquered wood and blue rechampi. Fully pegged, they are richly molded, with scalloped backs and armrests with cuffs supported by whiplash supports. The curved belt also rests on four curved legs. They are carved with flowers at the top of the back, and on each head of the foot, the shoulder is adorned with a small stylized leaf.
While the fabric needs replacing, the upholstery is still in good condition and worth preserving. Their sober, well-designed lines are the mark of a good craftsman who drew inspiration from the best 18th-century masters.
In good general condition, they nevertheless need cleaning.
We sell them as we acquired them, without the intervention of our craftsmen, which enables us to offer them at a very reasonable price.
    19th century.
