Set of 12 Empire Armchairs – Solid Oak – Gondola Backrest

Set of twelve Empire / Neoclassical style armchairs in solid oak, featuring a honey-golden patina of age.

The curved backrest known as 'gondola' style is centered with a fan-shaped support carved in relief. The armrests curve in volutes terminated by carved rosettes, resting on console supports. The seat, of slightly trapezoidal form with rounded waist at the back, is upholstered in red brick and white striped fabric in the Directoire-Empire spirit. Front legs square and straight with slight saber curve; rear legs in saber style, typical of the Empire period. Some natural wood fissures and patina of use testify to the age of the piece, without notable depreciation. Upholstery may be replaced upon request by the seller's workshops. Overall condition very good.

Dimensions per armchair: H. 81 cm × W. 62 cm × D. 52 cm – Seat height: 47 cm – Weight: 10 kg. Delivery to be arranged.
