    Carved Walnut Bench – Louis XV Style – 19th Century

    A charming Louis XV-style parlor bench dating from the late 19th century.
    It features a beautiful carved wooden frame with an antique brown patina, highlighted by particularly meticulous decorative work.
    Its gently curved backrest is topped by an elegant central finial carved with a stylized shell, accompanied by foliage and scrolls.
    The ends of the backrest are finished with pretty, curled crooks.
    The armrests, with their gracefully curved lines, rest on carved supports and are fitted with padded cuffs.
    The bench rests on four slightly arched legs, while the lower crossbar of the seat features a curved line embellished with carved motifs.
    The entire piece is upholstered in a light-colored fabric with geometric patterns in shades of beige and cream, lending it brightness and elegance. 
    The upholstery is accented with decorative round-headed tacks.
