Two Thonet Chairs N° 19, known as "Engelstuhl" (angel chair), a model created by Thonet before 1880.
This lot dates from 1900. They are stamped and labeled under the seat.
These two chairs are in very good overall condition, with a period decoration called "façon chêne" (oak-style), imitating the "oak" species when, of course, like all bentwoods, beech wood is used.
Recent manual canes in very good condition
